Mosweb intranet goes live on Struturo

MOSAID Technologies Incorporated is one of the world's leading intellectual property (IP) companies, focused on the licensing and development of semiconductor and communications technologies.

Mosaid asked LavaTech to create an intranet for them using Struturo. Their primary focus was creating something to manage a lot of content and streamline the content creation along the way. This was a conversion from a PHP website but with many enhancements.

Using several Domino backend databases, we were able to display a lot of information through one coherent web interface and one overriding Struturo database. This way they could manage the navigation elements around individual areas of the site in one place.

This was our biggest intranet rollout to date and it included many modules including:

• A file manager (mostly pdfs)
• A printable company directory from the website pulling data from Domino Directory
• A menu manager for cafeteria items with web editable capability
• Photo gallery
• Live updating weather widget and stock ticker
• Event calendar
